
Preschool Options at BMS
Belleville Mennonite School's Pre-Kindergarten programs provide an environment in which each child finds an opportunity to develop personally, socially, academically and spiritually. Our 3-day and 2-day Pre-K teacher, Mrs. Becca Peachey has a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and 12 years of experience teaching preschoolers. Mrs. Rosie Peachey, who leads our Pre-K Counts program, has a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education and more than 30 years of experience teaching early learners.
- 3-day Pre-K (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) 8:00-11:00 am (4-year-olds)
- 3-day Pre-K (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) 12:00-3:00 pm (4-year-olds)
- 2-day Pre-K (Tuesday, Thursday) 8:00-11:00 am (primarily for 3-year-olds)
- Half Day Pre-K Counts (Monday-Friday) 8:00 am - 11:30 am (3 and 4-year-olds); FREE to eligible families; Lunch is provided
- Full Day Pre-K Counts (Monday-Friday) 8:00 am - 1:45 pm (3 and 4-year-olds); FREE to eligible families; Lunch is provided
Eligibility Requirements
Children must reach the age of 3 or 4 prior to September 1st. Children must also be independent in toilet and bathroom habits. Please note we are licensed to take three-year olds in addition to taking four-year olds.
A Typical Day at BMS Pre-Kindergarten includes:
- Guided activity time
- Story time
- Circle time
- Bible time (stories, Bible verses)
- Prayer time
- Clean up
- Restroom breaks
- Snack
- Lunch for the Pre-K Counts class
- Choice time
