A Note from Mrs. Young

Dear families,

As usual the summer is flying past and we are looking at the start of another school year. If you have been to BMS this summer you know that the elementary playground was relocated to insure safety for our students at recess. There will be a new canopy at the entrance to the elementary that will make it nice for drop offs and to pick up your child. There are many new things at the school including some new faces on the staff.

Here are just a few reminders for the school year.

• PA Department of Health requires all immunizations be on file and up to date by the start of 2018-2019 school year. Elementary and middle school students must have a note if they plan to stay after school or ride with someone other than their regular means of transportation,

• The school day begins at 8:00 AM and if a student arrives after that they must check in at the office. Elementary students need an adult to sign them in at the office.

• Please follow the dress code as defined in the student handbook.

• The school sale has been moved to an earlier date. (April 12-13)

• Teacher conferences are on November 8, 2018.

I am continually amazed at how God provides for the ministry here at BMS. Many times I get an email or a call on His provision just when we need it. Please continue to pray for this ministry and for God's presence to be very evident to all those who pass through our doors. I look forward to another year at BMS and for the opportunity to work with your son/daughter.

In Christ's love,
Mrs. Glenna Young
